Bodymax R60 Rowing Machine Review
An R60 rowing machine is a professional rower that is made for home use. It offers most of the features that come with high-end rowers as well as it is designed to be compact and light.
This rower is very compact and has been specifically designed for enthusiasts to be used at home. It is relatively small and light machine compared to other rowers in this price range. It has an aluminium rail and a contoured seat that are responsible for delivering smooth rowing experience for its users.
When you order this rower, it will be delivered right to your doorstep free of charge. A box that rower comes in will include a step by step instruction on how to assemble the machine all by yourself. Usually, it takes around 30 minutes to set everything up.
R60 is featuring a magnetic resistance to provide tension to its user. Thanks to magnets, this rower is virtually silent when working out. It has eight different resistance levels that go from easy to hard.
The seat on this machine has been ergonomically designed for your comfort. It is specially contoured and padded to keep your bottom comfortable even in the long and intense workout. This machine has a pivoting foot pedal with velcro foot straps that keep your feet firmly in place to avoid any discomfort and any injuries.
Right under the handle, you can find a resistance adjusting switch. You won’t need to interrupt your rowing session to increase the intensity of your tension.
The screen that this machine is paired with is fantastic. It can show you the following vital workout stats:
- Calories Burned
- Number of rows
- Rate of rows per minute
- Duration of your workout
It is always good to know your stats during your workout if you are willing to push yourself to a new level.
After you have finished your workout, you can fold this machine in half. It is a very light machine compared to others so it would be no problem to move it around for everyone. It also has transport wheels at the front that are very helpful when you transport your rowing machine.
Unfortunately, this machine will not suit a tall user. Everyone who is taller than 6ft1 may experience some discomfort and not be able to do a full leg extension.
Another disappointment is that the screen is not back lit. If you are working out in a dark room you might want to turn the light on in order to read the stats from the screen.

What customers say about Bodymax R60
This machine has brought fitness into my house! It is not as robust as professional machine in the gyms, but it is more than adequate quality and meets all our needs. Also it is very quiet. The stroke feels very smooth and simulates rowing on actual water really well.
Very easy rower to assemble, looks like a decent bit of kit. But it is very easy to row and is a tad bit small. Very good for beginner rowers, but won’t be a great workout for more advanced and fit users. Recommended for beginners and intermediate users.
Easy to assemble, very sturdy machine. But resistant adjustment from easy to hard is quite narrow. I would recommend it to people using in early stages of keeping fit. It’s not at all noisy, and it is very easy to just jump on and start workoing out.
This machine is not bad for its price. Arrived in time and well packaged. It is very easy to assemble it and it didn’t take much time. The machine is smooth to row and the seat glides comfortably.
This machine is an excellent example of a device that was designed for beginners and mostly female/children users. Its tension is not as challenging for advanced users, so everyone looking for a challenge should look elsewhere.
It is a good machine for its price. You get comfortable rowing experience, LCD screen, it folds in half, and it is truly a good machine for home use.
