Bodymax R50 Rowing Machine Review
Bodymax R50 is yet another great rower from a famous rowing machine manufacturer. This rower has been specifically designed to fit beginners needs only. While this machine has got its downsides, it is a nice piece of equipment that does its job well.
Bodymax R50 is built from alloy aluminium frame and plastic seat, foot straps and foam handle. The materials used are very light making this rower very easy to move around yet durable.
When you order this rower, it will quickly arrive in a box right to your doorstep. The box will include all rower parts and step by step assembly manual. Please keep in mind that you might need some additional tools in order to assemble the rower.
The rowing machine gets its resistance from elastic rope. The resistance on Bodymax R50 is manually adjustable to suit your workout needs. Also thanks to this resistance system the rower makes very low noise. Great if you want to work out in quiet at night or want to watch television while rowing.
The seat has been specifically designed to provide extra comfort throughout workout even in long workout sessions. The surface of the seat is padded and allows for additional cushioning. Foot pedals feature sturdy straps that will keep your feet firmly in place and will let you relieve some tension from your ankle protecting you from trauma.
Bodymax R50 comes with a built in tracking console that is located under the handle bar. The display is fairly simple for a machine of this range yet it will provide you with vital stats of your workout:
- Time elapsed
- Total Count
- Calories burnt
After you finish with your workout, you can benefit from folding this machine in half and put it away in storage cupboard. Bodymax R50 is very light and you should have no issue with moving it around.
The machine is promised to handle users who weigh up to 100 kg and 6 ft tall. This is slightly below average of what we expect from rowing machines.
On the downside of things, majority of users are complaining about the resistance being not so challenging for advanced and intermediate users. We would like to explicitly warn you that this is an entry-level rowing machine and if you are looking for a challenging workout you should search for a more advanced rowing machine.
- Elastic rope resistance
- Variable resistance levels
- Folds in half to save space
- Built in LCD tracking monitor
- Resistance is lacking a bit
- LCD console is not backlit
What customers say about Bodymax R50
More than happy with functions. Purchased it as Christmas present and it still works well to this day. Easy to put together, easy to use. Resistance may lack a bit but I am okay with that. Fantastic rowing machine that is worth every penny.
I love this machine! It is not heavy to lift and is very straightforward and easy to assemble it. The computer screen is amazing, timer function won’t stop so if you do 15 minutes you have to finish it – no cheating!
Great machine! Felt the burn in my shoulders after using it, also hoping it will help me to loose extra weight.
It took me about ten minutes to assemble this machine. I am very impressed with it, easy to fold it and store it away as well as great rowing workout for its price. Delivery was quick too!
